M3 Technology team members are involved in the planning, design, development, deployment and maintenance of software and system lifecycle. Our success strategy is to understand the business rules and the requirements of our clients prior to actual creation of the software. Our team members are the key to our success. We take pride that our clients return to us and choose the M3 team because of our experience, ideas, attitude and our commitment to delivering services on time and on budget.

Some of our software development experience in recent years:

Transaction Concentrator (TC)

TC is a middle-tier server application that lies between the mail processing systems and transportation servers.  This application has both automated services that runs in the background as well as provides a Web GUI for the users and maintenance team to manage and control the application.  This application is the heart of transportation operation within the USPS; its operation is required to be up and running 24/7 throughout the year.

Financial and deliverables management of contracts

This series of program modules was developed to address the need of the uniform program of management of deliverables due under a contract and a financial monitoring and reporting system supports individual program financial needs as well as providing financial information in an easily usable form. The system is intuitive, minimizing the number of clicks necessary to execute various functions in the application. It also has Microsoft look and feel, eliminating manual processes that were used to combine and roll up financial information. The application provides the capability to select specific reports, provide appropriate security levels for information and report access, and provides a dashboard type display giving a quick summary overview of individual program and manager performance. The application program module for automated tracking of deliverables that are part of a contract allows for contract fulfillment requirements to be managed as part of a system that also allows vendors restricted access to submit required deliverables, thus automating the contract management of vendor requirements by a manger. It allows for comments, rejections, acceptance, and documents attachments by managing the flow of activities and items flogged for attention with respect to various rolls for the fulfillment and delivery of contractual obligations by vendors.

Umbrella Software for integration

This application is an umbrella software developed to contain all of the modules necessary for the automation of various functions and departmental management activities. It provides for the access and validation of users and incorporates existing software that has been developed as well as future modules and components. It is USPS HQ Engineering Program Management on-line application that supports mail processing system deployments Field Sites, District, Area offices and Headquarters organizations to each other and the Acquisition Program Management Offices.

Tracking Undelivered Mail

The application is for tracking the undelivered mail. The tracking of these pieces and the system to reduce this mail saves funds. M3 collects data from over 700 servers and tracks missing information through the interface with the origination Siemens system and various recipient servers. Additionally, the application for the integral management of all servers was developed for an accurate pinpointing of information to maximize management information.

Mail labeling and formatting

In august 2005, the USPS intelligent mail and Address quality  began the rollout of a new label format and production system that changes the way label trays, tubs and sacks are labeled and sorted. The Enhanced Distribution Label (EDL) is a new label format for trays, tubs and sacks. M3 developed EDL to allow USPS to uniquely identify every tray, tub and sack as it makes its way through their system. The Web-based Automated Tray Label Assignment System (ATLAS) produces and manages these new labels and replaces their current production system.
